The calculation report written together, with history
Several people in the same document, with the sheet and the model's values coming live into the text.
- Live. Each person shows up with a cursor and a name; a guest opens it and reads.
- History you can compare. Compare with the current version word by word, and restore without deleting anything.
- Published on sign-off. The published version is created when the activity is accepted, and a draft does not leak out as final.
The spreadsheet engineers already know, inside the project
Building and filling in happen on the same grid, and inputs can read element properties from the model.
- Understands what you type. “615 cm” in a field in metres becomes 6.15; an incompatible unit is refused.
- Bring your .xlsx. Formulas and formatting come along, and the results are recomputed here.
- Speaks up when a check fails. A failing check shows on the sheet and on the project, instead of going quiet.
Requirements checked against the current revision of the model
Specifications in the IDS standard, checked item by item, with a scoreboard per requirement.
- Names the element. A mismatch says which element and in which model, and goes out as BCF for coordination.
- Problems show up small. Eight elements without a code today is half an hour of fixing, not a week of rework.
- Exceptions on record. Moving on with an open requirement is allowed, with author and reason saved.
The project moves stage by stage, and a stage only opens once its goals are met
Each activity with a state, an owner and a history, and the hours logged against that work.
- Ready-made tracks. NBR 13531, RIBA and Brazil's Law 14.133 come configured, or build your firm's own.
- Managers sign off. Accepting, rejecting and reopening are recorded with author and time.
- Estimated against actual. Hours come back as a report and as an estimate for the next project.
